Kenji's expertise is in integrating technology-enhanced pedagogic strategies into instruction, research, and learning. He earned a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Hawai'i, focusing on Japanese history and literature, before working as an English language instructor in Kawasaki, Japan. After several years working in museum education in San Francisco, he earned an MA in Education at San Francisco State University, focusing on Instructional Technologies. He went to work as an Instructional Designer in the academic technology unit at SF State. He is currently an Academic Technology Specialist at the Center for Teaching and Learning at Stanford University. There he provides workshop facilitation, course design partnerships, one-on-one consultations, technology-enhanced pedagogic resources, and technology operations services for faculty, staff, and students.
